I want start this series because a hotel is a place full of stories.
There are many people ever living there, and happens many things.
That would be an interesting topic.
The Grand Budapest Hotel comes from the movie- The Grand Budapest Hotel.
The film was shot in Germany, and the story background is Austria between 1918 and 1938. That was the period after worldwar I and before worldwar II.
Where is the Grand Budapest Hotel?
The Grand Budapest hotel was not a real hotel. It is fictional.
However the shooting location is a real place.
It was temporarily converted from an old shopping mall for filming purposes.
This old shopping center is located in Goerlitz, Germany.
The film’s scenic designer Adam Stockhausen made a model of the appearance of the hotel by referring to the appearance of many European hotels, including the above-mentioned hotel imperial.
the hotel’s facade is not real exsted. It is just a model in real world
Although the hotel is called Budapest, the movie doesn’t seem to have anything to do with Budapest, and Hungary.
What’s the story about?
The story tells the rise and fall of a hotel in Eastern Europe from the end of World War I to the end of World War II.

So he was the beginning of prosperity and dreams, and the devastation of the war later made Budapest decline.
